Control Panel: This video contains overview of Control Panel in OPNBI.
Overview:-
Control Panel is a section of OPNBI that allows users to view and modify the settings. It consists of the set of applets that includes panel items like Language and Timezone setting enabling Backup user and much more.
Control Panel provides user-specific customization. This section can be accessed from the hamburger menu of application. Consequently, while using one or more control panel applets, users can customize certain settings of the OPNBI.
List of Control Panel features:-
1. Default Dshboard :- Enable user to choose their Default Dashboard from the list of available dashboards.
2. Landing Page :- Landing page can be user specific, which means each time when a user logs in to OPNBI the section set as a Landing Page Will be displayed as a first page.
Note
If user selects Dashboard as landing page, they need to select Default Dashboard where it should land.
3. Locale:- User can set any Locale (Language) from the list of available Locale (Languages), this will enable a user to see all the menu items in their native/set language.
4. Timezone :- Set the server Time Zone of your own choice.
5. Backup User:- Backup User are the users who can manage user/users account in their absence from work or simply can't access OPNBI for the set duration of time, Assigned Backup User can access user/users account for a set time allowing an organization to operate smoothly in the user/users absence. The User can easily Enable or Disable Backup User also can specify future dates.
6. Change Password:- User can make changes to their login password to OPNBI.
User nedds to click on save icon from the top right corner in Control Panel for changes to take effect.
